There is a famous quote attributed to Henry Ford: “If I had asked people what they wanted, they would have said faster horses.” Ford, obviously famous for the proliferation of the automobile, was actually a keen marketing strategist. He looked beyond the 'faster horses' mantra that his customers wanted into something that he knew they truly needed: reliable and efficient point-to-point transportation. Steve Jobs was no different.
